According to the US Geological Survey, an earthquake with a magnitude of 7.0 was recorded off the coast of Northern California on Thursday.
According to the USGS, the “strong” earthquake’s epicenter was in Humboldt County, off the coast close to Petrolia.
Additionally, shortly before noon local time, a tsunami warning that had been issued for coastal regions in California and Oregon, including San Francisco, was canceled.
