The statement said, "Terry was a fantastic husband and father and one of the kindest, funniest, and most honest of people.
The joy, the pain, the humor, the fight for justice, but most of all the love, were all captured in his music and performances.
The statement said, "He leaves behind the gift of his extraordinary music and genuine humanity and will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved him."
